Majestic Canyons
Canyons, especially in arid climates where their vastness is easily seen, make wonderful subjects for photography and painting. Photography and painting are all about light and deep canyon walls showcase constantly changing patterns of light and shadow from sunrise to sunset. If you want to do justice to the subject you have to be ready to work before sunrise and plan on being in the field at sunset too.
